I feel with the Internet becoming a necessity in every home or office, the majority of people who online spend most of their time on social media sites. In addition, the rise in popularity of smart phones has also increased the number of people and the time spent on social media.
With these phones, it is not a must for one to have a PC or laptop to be online.

Let’s first understand the basics about what is Social Media?

Social Media is also popularly called web 2.0 and is a new and innovative way of getting one’s views and information across to others in an interactive platform that has proven to be quite effective and popular.

When I talk about interactive social media platforms, I am referring to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Unlike a traditional newspaper, were readers only read. In social media, you can engage with any trending news by voicing your opinions in the form of commenting online for that news post. You have more ability to interact and socialize with like minded users and get an opportunity to make new friends and new followers.

Everyone knows how complicated it is to set up a physical office and all the capital which you have to throw in to start a business. With the advent of social media platforms like Facebook, you can start an online running business for free by creating a free Facebook page.

This is very good for establishing your brand awareness and engaging with potentials buyers. It’s easy to spread your brand awareness by using social media. News about your brand gets spread faster.

Social Media and Networking:
